- I don't know if it's possible to boot the GS directly off a Mac with
- only System 7's filesharing, but you can try this:

- Make a System 6.0 network boot disk using the Installer, but delete the
- Finder on the floppy and make sure you have the SetStart CDev and the
- System 6.0 Start file. You can then use the CDev to tell the GS to run a
- Finder on the Mac's hard drive on bootup. Deleting the Finder saves you
- close to 200K on your boot floppy. Use the extra space to put in more
- System folder goodies. Desktop Utilities and Pointless would be the two
- most useful additions since they allow you to auto-load desk accessories
- and Truetype fonts from any accessible drive (i.e., on the Mac HD). A
- Finder Extension like IR will let you install other boot files after you're
- in the Finder.
