  12. I've noticed a trend toward using .SHK format files on CCO rather than the 
  13. more massive .BSQ format.  Perhaps if that were adopted 100% some of the 
  14. volume "visibility" would be reduced.  Not to say that I disagree with Todd 
  15. regarding the sound files, in particular since most of them were of 
  16. questionable use anyway.  There were few I'd want to hear more than once 
  17. and that hardly makes the time to upload worthwhile.  Now, if someone were 
  18. to digitize some of the old sound effects records/tapes/CDs so they could 
  19. be incorporated into programs THAT might be worthwhile and even merit some 
  20. space on CCO.
