- How big was the animation, and how much memory did the machine
- have?

- From the way it sounds, it sounds as if DG was using the
- virtual memory player. Which simply means it loads in the animation a
- chunck at a time, and plays it that way. The virtual memory player is
- used, if DG can't get enough memory.

- Other than that, DG should be just as fast as anishow,
- although I haven't checked out anishow.
