- I just read on GEnie that this is not the case. Zip has been in
- Chapter 11 for two years and has been out of Chapter 11 for about four
- months. Being in Ch. 11 does not mean the company is out of business,
- rather it provides protection from creditors while a company
- reorganizes.

- Zip Technology, obviously. And we the Apple II users do as well
- because false indications of bankruptcy cause us to stop purchasing,
- which can lead to the said company actually going under. I hope you
- meant to be informative, but the rumor was also posted on GEnie and
- printed by the NAUG (National Apple Users Group) which has a history
- of printing misinformation regarding the Apple II.
