- Anyone out there have experience using the old Applied Engineering
- Appleworks expander program on a IIgs, ROM 3 machine? My son is attempting
- to use the GS memory test program on version 3.2 of that expander disk but
- it tells him none of his memory is any good. He has an AE GSRAM card
- installed (with 512k on it) which we checked out using that same program on
- my ROM 1 machine so I am confident the program works (in ROM 1) and the
- memory expansion card works (in a ROM 1 machine). How does the AE memory
- test program compare with the memory test utility on Appleworks GS?
-
- He also has a //e with a Ramworks III installed. We were hoping to pull
- the chips off that card and install them into his GSRAM card and use the AE
- Expander memory test to confirm they are CAS/RAS chips. I have never used
- the Appleworks GS memory test so I don't know if it provides the same
- check. Any advice would be appreciated.
