- Aaarrrrgh! too much fooling with my //c's hardware finally got me... last
- night I was wiring up some stuff to my joystick port and a slip of a wire
- rendered my joystick x axis input dead. (in the computer, not in the joystick)
- Today I called my Apple dealer. Well aware they do not repair motherboards
- themselves, I requested parts. They have none. I requested schematics. Same
- answer. I requested parts NUMBERS. They didn't know them. May I scream?
-
- They want to sell me another motherboard. I don't think so. Not for a $10
- chip.
-
- Anyone got a *dead* //c motherboard, or schematic or anything else that can
- help?
-
- I'm going to go dig for Apple's 1800 right now. I'm not so sure I'll find it,
- so could someone please post it for me? thanks!
-
- *sigh* service sucks... >:P
-
- later,
- Nathan
