- As a 1st year Cog Sci ( don`t ask ) student I know from some research that
- subliminal messages can be passed to the brain and you can never know. It is
- very doubtfull whether these messages can get more complicated than a single
- short word(which is what I know can happen) though, and even so the
- experiment only worked on some people and not others and wasn`t completely
- conclusive. It was a stroop effect sort of expt if your interested.
-
- On the A1200 it MAY be possible to perform this experiment with some success
- depending on how closely matched the colours are. I`ll tell anyone all
- about it if they write to me but I am no expert and only read a small
- amount about it. The program to test it would be simple enough though and
- could be done in Basic.
