  15. Here is what I want to do.

  17. I have a big black & white image, say 1280X1650 that I want to
  18. print full page (well, as big as possible) on my prefs printer.
  19. Since I want to do this from a CanDo application and since the
  20. dimension of the image may vary, I'm looking for a program that
  21. will offer enough freedom to do the scaling and send it to the
  22. printer at best possible resolution.  A CLI application or a
  23. program with a sufficient ARexx interface would do fine.  I don't
  24. need any sophisticated dithering.

  26. I tried with the AmigaOS 2.1 "GraphicDump" but this will only print
  27. the current front screen, not an image on disk.  "FileDump" is good
  28. only for text file.  "GPrint" (PD from ?) is good but does not offer
  29. enough freedom on scaling and is good only with Epson printers.

  31. Of course, I could use tools like DPaint IV but there is no ARexx
  32. interface so I can't print from my CanDo application.  In fact the
  33. print function of DPaint would do fine since it is possible to
  34. specify the X and Y scaling.  But as I said, DPaint suffer from the
  35. lack of an ARexx port.

  37. In the long run, if I find nothing I will write such a program.
  38. But for now, I'm looking for an easier solution.

  40. Does such a program (PD or commercial) currently exists?
