- g++ is commercial if you want it to be. It's perfectly legal for
- companies to sell it to you. In fact there are companies that make a
- living from support of gcc and related tools. Drop a line to Marcus
- Wild, he might be willing to charge you $ in return for support. Heck,
- I will, if you offer enough. :-)

- Seriously, don't discount g++ because it's "free". There are valid
- reasons why you might not want it, I concur. You always have the
- option of getting the AT&T Cfront c++ front end from Comeau, which
- will be as good as the c compiler you put underneath it, but g++ is a
- top quality compiler. If you need one now, waiting for SAS to come out
- with their commercial quality one could cost you $ in lost time.
