- If you use PIPE: as a HD partition yes.... As I said, C= Cats
- should give us an "officially supported" method that works for all
- cases. So far, I have found several problems with stuff I do, and
- I fix them. If you don't know the "correct" way, you make do with
- what you do know. 2.04 methods don't always work with 1.3. I have
- a hard and fast problem with a "customer" running 1.3 and finding
- somthing that works for other people does not work for him. Everything
- is according to some examples I was give on BIX in the closed conf.,
- but now doesn't work for people(at least in this case) running 1.3
- I can say "upgrade to 2.04/2.1", but that will not fix the problems
- of those who cannot or will not upgrade right now. If you have a
- way that is "officially sanctioned" post it. Pipe: and vd0: will
- appear(depends on how they are mounted) on my device list, if you select
- them and they are not HDs, well you will have problems with a utility
- that expects to process a HD specification.
