  15. Just a few important things to remember when trying to access this site.

  17. It's an Amiga, not unix, and it uses the CBM TCP/IP software.
  18. The software doesn't allow over 8 characters in the user name so using an
  19. "anonymous" login is impossible.  (get with it CBM!)
  20. At login, use "guest" instead of anonymous.
  21. In other words, you will type "guest" "guest" instead of "anonymous" "guest".

  23. There is *nothing* online yet.

  25. We can't guarantee it will work all the time, but I have accessed it from
  26. other sites on campus.

  28. I have no idea of how many can access the site at one time... or any other
  29. info of that sort.

  31. This site is intended for instructional and multimedia applications and
  32. not for general distrioution of PD software.

  34. It will stress language training and other educational uses of multimedia.

  36. It will be Amiga specific at first (mostly becouse that's what we use the most
  37. at this time) but may expand to include other machines (highly probable).

  39. I'm sure we will have an AmigaVision area with some scripts that have been done
  40. here at USU.  So if your interested in AmigaVision, you may want to check out
  41. this site in a couple weeks (possibly sooner).
