- Finally, a decent project has emerged. =u) First, the boring info:
-
- GfxRing, Copyright (C) 1993 Sam Hulick and Matt Lewallen. All rights
- reserved.
-
- Basically, you put GfxRing into WBStartup. Loading GfxRing will start a
- server in the background, which waits for your phone to ring. (NOTE:
- Your modem must be on and you must be offline). The server detects this
- and puts a little graphical bell on your current window/screen
- momentarily.
-
- Purpose: In case you live in some place where you're cursed w/
- roommates, and are expecting a late phone call. Turn your modem on,
- turn your phone ringer off, and turn on GfxRing. Sure, you could just
- load up VLT or soomething and wait for "RING" to appear, but this is
- much more cosmetic. =u)
-
- If you have any suggestions, please do e-mail them to me at
- shulick@indiana.edu. Thank you.
