-
- Personally, I use makeinfo (which has been ported to Amiga to produce
- Amigaguide text) and I strongly suggest to everyone willing to
- write an Amigaguide file to take a look at it before writing
- it from scratch.
-
- Just write your doc in makeinfo's language (fairly close to TeX)
- and then it will output :
-
- - an ASCII file
- - an Amigaguide file
- - a full Postscript manual with index and table of contents
- - (and also a texinfo file but there's little interest for
- that on the Amiga)
-
- By the way, I think the original author of the message was referring
- to an Amigaguide *viewer*, not the library or a .guide file. The
- best one is AmigaGuide (supplied with SAS 6). There are alternate
- guide viewers in the public domain but none comes close to
- Amigaguide.
