  21.     Personally, I use makeinfo (which has been ported to Amiga to produce
  22.     Amigaguide text) and I strongly suggest to everyone willing to
  23.     write an Amigaguide file to take a look at it before writing
  24.     it from scratch.

  26.     Just write your doc in makeinfo's language (fairly close to TeX)
  27.     and then it will output :

  29.     - an ASCII file
  30.     - an Amigaguide file
  31.     - a full Postscript manual with index and table of contents
  32.     - (and also a texinfo file but there's little interest for
  33.     that on the Amiga)

  35.     By the way, I think the original author of the message was referring
  36.     to an Amigaguide *viewer*, not the library or a .guide file. The
  37.     best one is AmigaGuide (supplied with SAS 6). There are alternate
  38.     guide viewers in the public domain but none comes close to
  39.     Amigaguide.
