- Well, the amount of use you can get out of the 1000 is directly proportional
- to how much cash you want to drop into it. I have a 1000 which has 4 meg of
- RAM, and 120 Meg of hard drive space. I'm running WB2.04, and use it as for
- telecommunications, some software development, and as an X terminal running
- over a CSLIP connection to my Sun at work! It hasn't been cheap to get it
- up to this point, but the cost has been spread over the past 9 years or so,
- and work got me the X and SLIP software :-)

- At this point, I'd suggest leaving the 1000 as a game machine for the kids and
- consider buying a new machine. The 3000's are awful cheap right now...
