- Under 2.0 one can set the various workbench fonts to be nice and large,
- and yellow on black text gives good contrast, also the icons (even the
- default icons) can be made big enough, as can the mouse pointer. Most
- visually impaired users do a lot better if the font is even twice as
- large as it is on most computers, and on the Amiga this doesn't cause
- too many problems most of the time. Some programs are still too stupid
- to work with different font sizes, but a lot of them ar okay.

- I would think that it shouldn't take too much more work to make
- AmigaDOS handle large fonts more gracefully (e.g. multi-column menus
- that don't fall off the right hand edge of the screen, scrolling menu
- bars to better accommodate wider fonts, variable sized scroll bars and
- gadgets). However the applications currently aren't pulling their
- weight when it comes to working with larger fonts (even the C= supplied
- programs don't work right). --
