  21.   I have an A3000/16 with soft kicked ROM's.  I installed the 2.1 upgrade
  22. right after Thanksgiving and it went smoothly.  I did exactly what you did,
  23. booted the install disk.

  25.   How old is your A3000?  A wild guess is that if you have the older
  26. "roms in a tower" version, the boot roms might be different than mine.
