- This should probably go to hardware, but...
-
- I have a TC500 with a Seagate ST157N 48Meg harddrive.
- The problem is that after about 15 minutes or so of no access, I get a
- read/write error on it. All I have to do is click on the RETRY gadget and it
- will be ok. It makes a very solid 'THUNK' when I first try to read or write
- after it has been idle.
- Is this a sticky Head Assembly problem ? Should I trash it ?
- It is actually more annoying than anything else, so please let me know.
- Thanks,
- Doug McKeown
