- Hello, I'm attempting to store three Binary (8-Bit max) values to some sort
- of static RAM. I want to be able to re-read these values in order to dump
- the values to a laptop machine via RS-232. I thought of using a counter to
- increment address values, and using an LM550 to control timing.
-
- While I think the concept is sound, I don't have any experience with RAM
- arrays. I need about .5Megs to store my 8-bit values, so I thought using
- a SIMM might be easier than developing my own array.
-
- Could anyone please provide 1M SIMM pinouts and any other related info for
- either the 1x8 or 1x9. Speed is not a factor because the values are
- stored every 10 seconds.
-
- Also, if anyone with useful experience would like to recommend another method
- I am willing to take ANY advice I can get.
-
- Thank You in advace,
-
