- Yeap. Have you consider EEPROM ? It would probably save a lot of time
- as you don't have to power down, pull it out, tan it in uv for 5-15
- minutes, power up Amiga, pop in chip in yet another untested hardware to
- program it, turn off Amiga, plug it into card, power up to test card....

-
- There is Epromer (right ?) V2.0. It was available in ab20 site and it
- should be in WUarchive under /systems/amiga/info/hardware. I didn't like
- the original BASIC timing loops (V.1), so I designed mine.

- Yeap... Got same problem here. Can't even get that May 1992 Elektor
- article on building GAL programmer for the PC in town. The only
- place in town decided not to carry it during the summer. :(
-
- I did got the full programming spec under NDA after a phone call to
- National Semiconductor. Other companies simple laugh in my face.
- Good thing is the Nat. Semi call was my first, otherwise I was more
- than disappointed to try after a couple.
-

-
- Well if you write my thesis for me I can probably release my EPROM
- programmer (full docs + source) and GAL (binary code only due to NDA). :)
- A job offer would probably do the same for me... :) I am way too tied
- up these days to do anything.
-
- Ask the German author whether or not he has an English version....
- (Mine still lacks the GAL assembler & disassembler, but sinceII can
- run IBeM for Nat Semi' OPAL JR (Free) I didn't bother writing mine.)
-
- Try the EEPROM solution. I know I would. They are almost like RAM
- chip in pin outs and interfacing. Writing to it is pretty simple too
- as some of them have built-in latches. Just have to write data, and
- keep reading it until internal write is done (upper bit is inverted on
- read when it it not ready.) and write again.
-
- Some stores have GAL programming service. Cost $$$$ as I can't get it
- right without 4 - 5 iterations.
