-
- I have a 2000 with a GVP series one card, and several SCSI devices.
-
- I had a problem with SCSI disk read failures when the tape was running,
- This was solved by the gvpscsictrl command, with a side effect that the
- SCSI bus hangs until the tape finishes it's command (rewind, write,
- etc.). I discovered that I was only transferring 2k at a time to the
- drive. Set the jumpers on the 2150S to transfer 16k blocks (the maximum
- which my GVP card could transfer in one go) and you can omit the
- GVPSCSICTRL command.
-
- Having done that, I haven't any trouble with Ami-Back writing to my
- tape drive.
