  11. About a week ago I posted an article stating my problem running
  12. WB2.1 on my A500.

  14. The installation script dies with a software failure:
  15. ERROR: 8100 000C  TASK: 00C1 CED0
  16. The 2.1 Workbench disk also dies.
  17.  
  18. After I hacked up a startup-sequence to allow the machine to boot,
  19. any attempt to change preferences causes a software failure:
  20. ERROR: 8100 000C  TASK: 00C1 CE98
  21.  
  22. Any attempt to use RAM: ends up with a software failure.
  23.  
  24. I'm stuck.
