- : You might want to wait for the Merlin graphics card by XPert (successor of
- :Domino), it costs about the same as the Retina but gives you better resolution/
- :frequency relations and a real good blitter (seems to be ET4000/W32) and 24 bit
- : with TVPaint jnr. 2.0 and a *working* Intuition emulation and an automatic
- : monitor switch (you don't need two monitors).
-
- A few pieces of information from the XPert-announcement:
-
- 1280x1024 pixel - 24bit
- max. 120Hz
- "perfect 32bit-technology" (I think, they mean the Zorro-II-support ;-)
- up to 4MB Ram onboard
- Output: PAL/NTSC, CVBS, Y-C, RGB, S-VHS (!!!)
- You can upgrade your Merlin with a "digital Realtime-Digitizer and a digital
- 24bit-Genlock" - That means, for example, TV on a 24bit-Workbench !!!
-
- Available on february `93 ...
-
-
- That`s what the announcement sais... sound very interesting, but I have to
- wait until feb. :-(
