- Not so. The A4000 just doesn't like its air flow pattern disrupted by
- ribbon cables over the fan. Take off the enclosure lid and reposition
- the hard/floppy drive ribbon cables so that they go behind the hard drive
- and over the top of the drive. This allows more air to circulate around
- the 040 heatsink and allows the fan to draw the hot air out of the case
- more effectively. Also, make sure that the fan blows air out the lourved
- vents at the rear of the power supply. If it sucks through these vents,
- then the fan in the power supply has been installed incorrectly and needs
- to be reversed.

- It shouldn't if you make the mods described above. Just make sure the
- air flow path is unobstructed. (You may need to get your dealer to do
- the mods if warranty is an issue ;-))
