- Reading the newer magazines I notice that Vector has come
- out with an accelerator for the Amiga that will let you fall back
- to the 68000 mode and use the SCSI controller and extra
- memory. GVP has their accelerators that are supposed to be "Top of
- the line" but kill the SCSI drives and the extra memory. If top
- of the line means a big name makes it, the smaller companies are
- going to get more of the business. Plus I don't see how Amazing
- Computing can give GVP their award for "Best Service/Customer
- support" (Dec. 1992) when a call to GVP about the RAD/Impact II
- problem (rad is will NOT survive a reboot w/ the Impact II)
- resulted in a "why would you want to boot from rad?" reply. If
- the are going to be the best company in that field shouldn't they
- at least make their products work with the operating system?
