- You'd also need some form of hardware, because in an Amiga system without
- a BridgeCard or something similar, the IBM slots are not electronically
- connected to the rest of the Amiga (aside from some voltages and grounds
- being supplied to the IBM slots). In other words, without something to
- 'bridge' the IBM slots to the rest of the Amiga, it is impossible to use
- an IBM internal modem with Amiga software.

- I've heard that the Gateway II (or whatever it's called) has such
- software availbale for it, though. It would also be nice if Commodore
- added facilities to the Janus BridgeCard software to support IBM internal
- modems as Amiga devices.
