- I have a 1 meg A500 and recently saw an add for the a5000/b5000 accelerators
- by solid state leisure or some name like that(s.s.l).Of course i'd love a
- the gvp a530 or whatever but it is a bit more expensive than i can afford. My
- objectives were to get 4 megs ram and maybe an accelerator later ,when i saw
- this for quite a cheap price was wondering what it is like?Does anyone out there
- have one?It has a 68020 16.67Mhz for the a5000 which should make it a bit faster
- than the a1200 and a 25Mhz 68030 for the b5000 both with maths comprocessors.
- I am pretty new to the amiga scene and would much apreciate greatly knowing
- in advance what a set up of an a500 with an a5000 and 4 megs ram is like.(
- for instance how much faster is it really would you say(they gave an example
- of raytracing which took 24 hours on an standard a500 which it took 1hr36min
- with the a500 which is about 15 times faster but that would be the maths coprocessor as much as the 68020 etc...?)
