  17. That seems awful slow for a 40meg backup...especially considering the time to 
  18. verify the data (a must-do when using videotape with all its dropouts).
  19. There are PCM systems which can store the equivalent of 2GB of digital music
  20. (sampled at 48kHz) onto a 2 hr videotape.
