- Ive put the ADSPEED in my 1000 with the KWIKSTART II. The KS II is still in
- the 1000 but I've moved the ADSPEED to my 2000.
- Did it work? Initially, it came up flawlessly under both 2.0 and 1.3.
- However, I found that the combination of these two products plus 2.0 on a
- 1000 with the software I was running was too unstable. I can't remember all
- the problems I had or what I did about them (other than buying a friend's
- 2000). I do have some hack type memory and a similar type hard drive on the
- 1000. Perhaps that contributed to the unstableness. Yes I grounded all the
- appropriate PALS. (I think). Since my 1.3 system used to be so stable,
- that's what I run on the 1000 now with the KS II board still in. The ADSPEED
- runs 2.0 on the 2000. Acording to both manufacturers, the products should be
- compatible. The ADSPEED does work very well in the 2000.
-
- Good luck!
- Gord.
