- Is anyone out there using a Direct Access Tape drive (usually a 3M
- MCD-40) with the Ami-Back software???
-
- I'm having problems with selective restores on multiple tape backup
- sets. Files on the first tape are restored fine.
-
- During restores from
- the second tape I get a `File (or directory) skipped - Header Error'
- message.
-
- Depending on what I've asked to restore Ami-Back will then ask me
- to insert the third tape. It seeks on it for awhile then tells
- me that the tape isn't a Backup Tape.
-
- One very wierd thing is that I can perform a full compare on the backup
- set and I don't get any errors.
-
- So is there anyone out there (with similar equipment) who can verify
- (or not verify)
- my problem?
-
- Thanks
