  12. I am having problems when I try to print with the 2.04 workbench.

  14. This is my situation:
  15. I have an Amiga 2000 with the 2.04 ROMs in it, and a PANASONIC KX_P1124
  16. printer. I set my printer driver as generic and I am booting my Amiga
  17. with 2.04 workbench software.
  18. I am trying to print a text file and I get the response that the printer
  19. is probably off line. I can't even reset the printer by double cliking
  20. over the InitPrinter icon.

  22. When I boot my Amiga with a 1.3 workbench diskette, however, I can
  23. print, reset my printer using the same InitPrinter icon (which belongs
  24. to the 2.04 workbench that resides in my hard disk).

  26. As far as I recall, I was printing with this Amiga in the past with the
  27. 2.04 workbench.
  28. I even tried swapping the 8520 CIA chips and it didn't help.

  30. Is my problem software or hardware ?
  31. What should I do to solve it ?
