- I wrote a utility not long ago that moves the mouse "out of the way" when
- it remains idle too long and restores it when the mouse is physically
- disturbed in some manner. To know when the latter occurs the program keeps
- an eye out for IECLASS_RAWMOUSE input events. This scheme worked flawlessly
- at first, but now gets fooled every now and then. Apparently, the program
- sporatically sees an IECLASS_RAWMOUSE input event even though the mouse was
- not disturbed at all! The system that this occurs on is an old :-( A2000
- which has been used heavily (50+ hours per week) ever since it was purchased
- brand new back in March 1989. Is it possible that the chip that controls
- the game ports and hence the mouse is flakey? BTW, I use the Boing! optical
- mouse. It's probably around as old as the A2000 as well. Any input appreciated.
