  12. Any developers out there care to break the non-disclosure thing and tell
  13. us how the RTG support is going at CBM? I've been waiting for better
  14. graphics for my Amiga since I got my 2000 three and a half year ago 
  15. ( I upgraded from an 500). One and a half years ago, I upgraded to a 3000, and
  16. now I'm still waiting (I'm out of money to upgrade to the 4000). An
  17. 100%-Amiga-loving guy can only have so much patience. There seems to be many
  18. quality graphics cards out there, but they won't get any general software
  19. support until there is an RTG standard.

  21. Here are some display cards I've heard of:

  23. DMI Revolver- way over priced for an 8 bit card!
  24. Visiona-24bit? Was it ever released? What's the price?
  25. Rembrandt-24bit, out of my price range
  26. OpalVision-24bit, the expansion options and the software support looks
  27.            fantastic! if only it can go beyond normal Amiga resolution 
  28.               like 1024x768
  29. Domino-VGA card for amiga, cheap but only available in Germany
  30. Retina-24Bit? cheap, but again only in Germany/Europe
  31. Merlin-24bit? cheap, specs are greats, not released yet, hope it's not
  32.        vaporware, again, maybe only in Germany/Europe
  33. Firecracker-uh, outdated and cost too much
  34. AVideo12/24- 12 and 24 bit, not enough information
  35. The_card_I_want- AGA specs, dirt cheap, Zorro III card

  37. Some of these cards have graphics processor on them, others are just
  38. framebuffers. At this point, I'll consider anything that's better than
  39. 320x400/HAM :(
