- If it's only two colors, you may be able to fill your printer's
- needs by printing two separate files. From your saved file,
- delete all of the objects of one color. Edit the color of the
- remaining objects to BLACK to make the printing plate for that
- color. Print the postscript file to disks as you normally would.
-
- Reload the original file and delete all to objects of the other
- color and repeat the process.
-
- With spot color, they are creating the color by using specific
- colors of ink rather than by four color process. They have to
- print the page twice to get the two colors.
-
- If you are using ProPage and your colors are PANTONE, do a color
- seperation instead of the procedure in paragraphs one and two.
- ProPage recongnizes PANTONE (and maybe custom colors) as unique
- colors that can not be created by the process color procedure. It
- will produce a seperate Postscript file for those colors.
