  12. Has anyone gotten MegaFortress to work on a 4000?

  14. I just bought this game yesterday (at Software Etc.'s overinflated price
  15. even).  There seems to be good news and bad news:

  17. The good news - it looks like the port was well done.  It uses the C=
  18. "installer" program to install, and it even seems to run mostly OK on a
  19. 4000, which is a rare suprise.

  21. The bad news - there is one critical bug which seems to make it
  22. completely unplayable.  In the co-pilot station, using the "EVS" crashes
  23. the system.  Just entering the game, then clicking on "INT", "RNGE", and
  24. "RDR" in turn always produces a system crash.  There may be other
  25. possibilities as well.

  27. Its rather disappointing, since it looks like a fun game, and looks like
  28. a good port to the Amiga in other respects.  Most flight sims don't seem
  29. to like AGA at all and require the 4000 to be booted in ECS mode to run.
  30. Megafortress seems to work OK even when the system is booted in AGA
  31. mode.
