- Has anyone ever seen a game called Starflight on a SEGA game console.
-
- It looks like a port of an old 8-bit game, judging by the no. of colors and
- text etc.... I wonder if this game was ever available for either the Amiga or
- perhaps some other machine (i.e. C64 or Atari).
-
- The game on SEGA is put out by Electronic Arts and is dated around 1986. The
- basic elements of the game are as follows:
-
- You have a space ship with which you travel to other planets. On the planet you
- use a rover mining vehicle to extract minerals which you sell upon your return
- to home port (a space station). The money you receive from selling your booty
- can be used to upgrade your ship or rover.
-
- Also there are several races of unfriendly alien types floating around who will
- make things interesting by trying to blast you to bits.
-
- If anyone has ever played this game on something other than SEGA please let me
- know.
-
- Thanks
