  12. Can someone tell me how to do this?  I'm writting an arexx program that
  13. reads data from FIFO:VLTR.  The trouble is, when my program starts up
  14. there is already data in the buffer.  I need to clear this out.

  16. I've tried reading data until lines("FIFO:VLTR") = 0 but it seems to
  17. always return 0.
