- Get the LHA.EXE archive extraction program. That should do it. As
- for composers on the IBM; there are a lot of them. My composer of
- choice for MODs is called 'Whacker Tracker', by The Code Blasters
- (TCB). Other good ones: Modedit v3.00 (get 3.00, much better than
- 2.00), DigiStudio v1.5 (only a demo avail. through shareware - no save
- enabled), Octa (don't know much about this, just that it's pretty
- good), and a few others that I can't remember.
- If you want to get into 8-channel compositions, get a copy of
- Composer669, and register it to enable file saving. Another 8-channel
- composer is called GTS (I can get you phone numbers and stuff for most
- of these). Remember - MODs are 4-channel, these others are 8 -- that
- means they will _not_ be compatible (unless the author wrote a MOD
- import routine into the software). However, they let you create more
- elaborate songs.
