- Thankyou. At last I will be able to sequence long, good quality samples.
- I work to record on tape so I use all available memory if I need it so
- the better quality I can get the samples the more improved my modules
- will sound.

- I'll say. A mate of mine tried to write a program called Musictracker but he
- never finished it. It involved the use of making up tracks and then calling
- them up for each bar so that repeated tracks only have to be stored once.
- This also allowed different tracks to run at varying speeds which could have
- produced some interesting results.
-
- I have recently written (with a friend who owns a 4-track recorder) 4 pieces
- of 8-16 channel music. We manually overlay each set of four tracks onto the
- four tape tracks and gradually build up some impressive (IMHO) sounds. If you
- want a copy then let me know and we'll arrange something. They're sort of rave
- tracks but more abstract rather than charty if you know what I mean. Anyway,
- some sort of synchro across a null modem cable to connect to Amigas together
- so that they both trigger at the same time would be a real bonus. It would mean
- that we wouldn't have to do some severe manual editing to get the damn things
- to run in synchronisation!

- Well, I'm very interested. Keep me posted on your progress and let me know
- where I can obtain a copy when it's finished. I'll be happy to bug test it
- for you having had wide experience with many Sound, Noise, Star and
- Protrackers.
