- The .INSTR files are synthesized sounds created by Sonix. (Or a file to
- tell Sonix what to do with the .ss file.) The .SS files are sampled sounds,
- which is why they work with Psound. There is no way that I know of to
- convert the .INSTR synthesized sounds to 8svx samples, it would be pointless
- anyway. There are several PD music players out there that will play your
- SMUS file, .instr sounds and all.
