  19.   The .INSTR files are synthesized sounds created by Sonix.  (Or a file to
  20. tell Sonix what to do with the .ss file.)  The .SS files are sampled sounds,
  21. which is why they work with Psound.  There is no way that I know of to
  22. convert the .INSTR synthesized sounds to 8svx samples, it would be pointless
  23. anyway.  There are several PD music players out there that will play your
  24. SMUS file, .instr sounds and all.
