  11. VCLI (V 5.2) and AniMan (V 4.1) are now available at the following
  12. FTP sites:

  17. These updates fix all known bugs and incorporate many new features for
  18. improved performance and operability.  Below are the readme files for
  19. these programs.

  24. Short:  Voice Recognition (Version 5.2)

  27.    This is version 5.2 of Voice Command Line Interface (VCLI) which will
  28. execute CLI commands, ARexx commands, or ARexx scripts by voice command.
  29. VCLI allows you to launch multiple applications or control any program with
  30. an ARexx capability entirely by spoken voice command.  VCLI is fully
  31. multitasking and will run in the background, continuously listening for
  32. your voice command.  Improvements over earlier versions include the 
  33. capability to load alternate vocabulary files by spoken voice command, a
  34. choice of Amiga hardware timers to reduce interference with other programs,
  35. and immunity of the display to changes in system fonts.  The bug in VCLI51
  36. that affected loading of vocabulary files by voice command has been
  37. quashed.  VCLI requires either the Perfect Sound 3, Sound Master (Sound
  38. Magic) or a Generic audio digitizer.  AmigaDOS 2.0 is required.

  45.    This is version 4.1 of AniMan which allows you to converse with an
  46. animated talking head through your audio digitizer in order to execute
  47. CLI commands, ARexx commands, or ARexx scripts by voice command.  AniMan
  48. is completely multitasking and will run in the background, continuously
  49. listening for your voice command.  With AniMan you can launch multiple
  50. applications or control any program with an ARexx capability by conversation
  51. with an animated talking head.  Improvements over earler versions include
  52. background multitasking operation, the capability to load alternate command
  53. files by spoken voice command, a choice of Amiga hardware timers to reduce
  54. interference with other programs, and support for three audio digitizers;
  55. Perfect Sound 3, Sound Master (Sound Magic), and Generic digitizers.
  56. AniMan is compatible with NTSC and PAL.  AmigaDOS 2.0 is required.
