  15. I've been using XComm 1.00 for a couple of hours now. I haven't seen any of
  16. the bugs that you have just reported (but, then again, my setup and needs
  17. are much different from yours, I'm sure.)

  19. First off, and most importantly to me, XComm handles Zmodem xfering
  20. flawlessly, unlike Term2.4(a) (using the EXACT SAME ZMODEM LIB!) This got my
  21. immediate and undivided attention.

  23. Secondly, I've switched through various emulations while online, and have
  24. iconified and quit/restarted Xcomm with absolutely no problems. Not a single
  25. guru yet (knock on silicon.)

  27. The macro-editor has worked flawlessly sofar, and I had no problems
  28. configuring common macros such as  default username-send and password-send
  29. (easily accessable by using the %u and %p symbols when configuring. Yay!
  30. Great feature, Ed&Bill.)

  32. I'm calling my unix account on XComm now, using the VT340 emulation, and
  33. sofar, I'm extremely impressed. Now, if someone could convert $45 in
  34. Australian money to USFunds, I'll know how much it costs to register the
  35. sucker.

  37. To sum up: the previous few posters have encountered many bugs and gurus
  38. while using XComm. I'm running an A2000 (2.04Roms) with very little running
  39. in the background, and I've had absolutely no problems. I have a feeling
  40. that, since it is the first public release of XComm, that it will be
  41. relatively unstable on some machines, as the previous two posters have
  42. mentioned, but luckily, it has been peachy for me sofar!
