- I have been using EasyLedgers now for about 3 - 4 years (bought it
- when it first came out in Canada) and for the most part we have been
- quite happy. My wife's business is a retail business (sales are around
- $40K) and that means that an integrated inventory system is critical to
- having a usable accounting system. Using Superbase would mean writing
- an entire accounting system - not feasible in my books.
-
- While EasyLedgers has a few small bugs (notably Spooled Invoices) and a few
- enchancements that would improve it greatly, it has been good enough for
- our business. My wife is not a computer person and finds EasyLedgers quite
- easy to use (it has a good intuition interface). In addition to the standard
- reports, information can be dumped out in spreadsheet format for customized
- reporting. Also, we got good support from Brown-Waugh when we bought the
- product (are they still in business?).
-
- Nimbus (which I also own) was a piece of junk - if anyone wants
- to buy it from me, I would certainly listen to any offer.
-
- Now, I was under the impression that SIA was some kind of enhancement
- to EasyLedgers, but perhaps this isn't so. If it was, I would have
- expected it to be of the same quality since it's from the same people.
