  25. My experience is about 5 minutes per page for plain black text. I am using
  26. FC II on an unaccelerated amiga 2000HD, with goodcolorjet driver and a
  27. DJ550C. For drafts, lower graphics density to 150 dpi and the time drops to
  28. about 3 minutes. Very fancy fonts take up to 7 minutes. I am about to order
  29. Wolf Faust's Studio package, which has better drivers that I hope will give
  30. about 25% speed improvement and full use of the 550C 4-colour capabilities.

  32. That isn't close to the speed of Wordperfect, of course. And I have not
  33. found a way to make Final Copy II print envelopes easily on a Deskjet. I
  34. set the printer to Landscape, and FC II to draft mode, but to properly
  35. position the address I have to insert 50 spaces at the start of each line.
  36. Not hard, but annoying. In Wordperfect all I have to do is change the left
  37. margin before the address.
