- Well, I have used Phaser 3.0 and it will run under 2.0 with all fast
- memory disabled. I wrote an script to disable fast memory, start Phaser
- then restore fast memory when I exit. This works ok, but it's not really
- a nice thing to do in a multitasking environment. The user interface has
- pull down menus, but other than that is its a real IBM'ish interface,
- (tab and fill in blanks) although it does seem quite usable. In terms of
- features, the programs seem adequate. It can track several checking
- accounts with multiple categories. I also has provisions for tracking
- savings accounts. It has the capability to produce several type of
- reports including character based charts, which aren't fancy but do the
- job. There is also a program to assist in TAX preparation, but I have
- never used it. Basically Phaser 3.0 will do the job but is a teaser to
- get you to upgrade or buy Phaser 4.0, which adds an intuition interface
- and maybe more features. I'm not sure exactly what Phaser 4.0 add since
- I don't have it. By the way, I got this program on an old Antic Magazine
- disk. It did not come with docs, but you could order them for a small fee.
- I never did order them since I was able to figure out the program without
- them.

- Hope this helps!
