- Are there any PD or ShareWare Print Spooling programs available for
- the Amiga? I normally print files using the "run" command, which
- more-or-less allows for a "spooling" like capability on the Amiga,
- but I would like to have a *real* spooler.
-
- Features I would like to see:
-
- o command to list all jobs in the spooler
- o capability to rearrange jobs
- o kill *specific* outstanding jobs
- o kill *all* jobs in the queue
- o suspend outstanding jobs
- o switch to allow you to delete the file after it is printed
- o switch to print a banner for the first page of a print out
- o default config file for setting switches, etc.
-
- It would be nice to have "links" to the files being printed, created
- in a spool directory (so that big files don't have to be "copied" to
- the spool directory (configurable, of course)... Does a beast like this
- already exist? I prefer not to re-invent the wheel, if one already
- exists. Thanks in advance.
-
- If you e-mail replies, I will post all findings after I collect enough
- replies...
