- Especially if your university already has a latex .sty file
- for your thesis format. That alone should make you want to learn
- and use LaTeX. You might be able to find over ftp some of the
- more major university thesis styles.

- I used LaTeX for my thesis and passed the thesis secretary on the
- first try. I would hate to have to sit their with PageStream or
- ProPage and muck with the margins and header, footer, foot-note,
- equation styles all by myself and end up having to re-do the whole
- thing because the thesis secretary rejected it!

- Wish I had AmigaTeX back then. I had to work on a vt100 using
- "vi"! No previewer so we wasted a lot of trees...
