  31. I'll toss in another vote for AmigaTeX.  What you want to do is
  32. exactly what TeX is made for.  It actually won't be dificult to "set
  33. it up" like you want it to look because you won't have to.  I am
  34. certain that somewhere in the univerty there is a predefined thesis
  35. style to use with LaTeX.  You won't have to think about it at all.
  36. This is especially true for equatins - I've seen so many WYSISYG
  37. equations (that peaple have spent hours trying to arange and size
  38. things) that look really goofy.  With TeX or LaTeX it's either
  39. perfect, or it's wrong.  with even a _little_ practice, you can be
  40. whipping out sexy (in the eye of the beholder) equations with out
  41. thinking about it.  Anyone who can balance paren's and brackets will
  42. do splendidly.

  44. Also, the AmigaTeX is a _great_ rendition -- the previewer is a
  45. dream.
