- OK. I -am- going to call Quarterback's "help" line tomorrow (I realize
- they don't -say- it's a number to call for help, but I'll try anyway...
-
- BUT -- I backed up my 120 MB drive with Quarterback (5.02? Latest, I
- believe anyway...) and for other reasons (idiocy, mainly) I had to
- restore all three partitions. The 5MB partition went fine. The 20MB
- partition went fine. The 95MB partition? The Catalog on the (only) set
- of backups is CORRUPT. QB can't do -anything- without a catalog, so sez
- the manual.
-
- Before I call them and find out I can't do anything, I thought I'd post
- and see if anyone else has had this "problem" (probably bad media) and
- has found any way around it. Thoughts? Suggestions? No condolences
- please, no "keep -two- sets", no "get a SCSI tape drive", no snickers
- please. I've managed not to break anything so far ;-)
