  15. This article didn't get much of a response in C.S.A, so I will now try
  16. posting it in the correct group :-) Apologies if you have read it before.

  19. Can anyone comment on Eureka? How does it compare to using, say, Pipedream?
  20. I know someone who is looking for a spreadsheet proggy and wanted to know if
  21. Eureka is any good. Comments much appreciated.

  23. Anyone out there got Pendown Plus? Do you think it could cope with small
  24. reports/essays? Or do I need Impression (or Impress. Jnr)? Someone
  25. mentioned that Icon Technology give a student discount on Techwriter. Can
  26. anyone remember how much of a discount it is?

  28. Also, could an A5000 owner tell me how the ARM3 is connected (Surface
  29. mount/PGA/?). If it is Surface mount, does anyone know if you can get surface
  30. mount PGA sockets? More importantly does anyone know a dealer willing to fit
  31. such a socket to an A5000. Would it invalidate the warranty?

  37. Are we going to get a press release from ARMLtd. about the use of ARM2's in
  38. this new 3DO Console? A few (gasp) technical details perhaps? The byte
  39. article mentioned the use of "proprietary" graphics chipset. Could this be
  40. the first commercial use of the new VIDC?

  42. Acorn, (bit hopeful this :-) are there any plans to replace the A540? Be
  43. nice to know what you are working towards (I don't expect I'll get an
  44. answer to that, ho hum).
