  11. While I was back in England for Christmas I did a quick survey of Dixons
  12. branches. There were no Acorn machines at all in the main branches in Luton and
  13. Oxford; the one in Oxford St. (London) had one A3010 (switched off), and I'm
  14. told there was some presence in Milton Keynes. I found one person who
  15. remembered seeing the TV ads, and my cousin bought an Amiga for her two
  16. daughters (I don't think she'd even heard of Acorn). So much for the marketing
  17. blitz.

  19.   BTW, I went in the new Watford Electronics shop in Luton, and I was fairly
  20. impressed; it's the biggest Acorn-related shop I've seen. It's a bit hard to
  21. find, though!
